Family Day at Net Atlantic!

Last week,  Net Atlantic had the pleasure of hosting its annual Family Day!

Every summer, we invite the children of Net Atlantic employees to come in and see where mom or dad go every day, get an understanding of what Net Atlantic does, and meet some of the people they hear about at home.

This year, we also wanted to hear the kid’s perspective on the internet, so Net Atlantic VP Wes Owen and Office Administrator Barbara DiMambro talked with the kids about what they like to do online, what types of sites they like, and what makes for a good website. We weren’t surprised to hear that most of them aren’t using computers for entertainment anymore; they are more interested in using apps on their tablets and smartphones.

After the chat, we shared pizza and Hoodsies (that good ol’ New England summer favorite), followed by a fun activity in which the kids created their own website home page designs using paper, markers and cutouts.
