On May 1, 2013 at Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts, Net Atlantic CIO Sue Bergamo shared her thoughts with a group of students on what to expect when embarking on a career in the real world.
Sue presented to an audience of 30 – 40 students, from freshmen to seniors, about the varied career paths available in the IT field, and provided tips on interviewing as well as managing one’s online reputation. She also gave the students an inside peek into what executives expect–and don’t want to see–from new hires.
“It was great to have the opportunity to bring lots of young minds together and help set expectations for anyone aspiring to a C-level position,” Sue said.
As the Chief Information Officer at Net Atlantic, Sue Bergamo brings leadership, broad technology experience, and a focus on the growth of the company through its application and service offerings.
Prior to joining Net Atlantic, Sue was CIO at BTE Consulting as well as two of Aramark’s apparel companies, Galls and Wearguard-Crest. She has also held positions as head of enterprise data management and business intelligence at the Staples Corporation, and head of enterprise application development for CVS/pharmacy.
Sue has an AS in Computer Science from Tunxis College and a BS in Business Administration from Post University. She is also a member of the CIO Executive Council and Society for Information Management (SIM).
